Don't get crazy ideas, folks. I'm not pregnant (although, some shameful people have mistakenly asked me if I am). I am perfectly content with being the one queen of the throne in my castle. I was at a baby shower this past weekend, and while shopping for gifts from the registry, I couldn't help but get all goo-goo, gaga over the cute stuff they have. I joked with my husband about how much I wished to have just a baby shower, and if not, the chance to decorate someone's nursery to get my baby fix in. So I started pulling a bunch of baby items I've been clipping to my inspiration notebook.
I don't have a baby girl, so at this point, I don't even know what theme to go with. So I decided to just keep it as neutral as possible, with some feminine touches here and there.
1: Grey Lattice Fitted Crib Sheet via Target; 2: tranquility - leafy + white bamboo dream blanket by aden + anais; 3: "K" Typeset Throw Pillow in mint by Land of Nod; 4: Hand Picked Bow Knob by Land of Nod; 5: FABRIKOR Glass-door cabinet in beige by IKEA; 6: Posh Tufted Pink Pouf by Land of Nod; 7: 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail by The Honest Company; 8: Delaney Rug in pink by Pottery Barn Kids
Why the glass door cabinet in a baby girl nursery? To put all the cute memorabilia things you want to pass down -- jewelry box, ballet slippers, Precious Moments statue collection of all the Disney Princesses your mom gave to you! (<--- That would be my plan! Again, though, I'm not pregnant!)
